I know... This is VERY short notice, but every little bit helps.
We're gonna drive some food this Saturday! I'm going to have a small group of people stationed at Goodale to collect items for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank. This is NOT a requirement, but please bring what you can (no pun intended, but damn that is clever).
Here is a list of suggested items:
Peanut butter
Jelly or jam
Macaroni & cheese
"Spaghetti-O's" type canned pastas
Pudding, gelatin & fruit cups
Cheese & cracker snacks
Juice boxes
"Bisquick" type mixes
Oatmeal
Baking mixes
Corn meal
Dry beans
Pasta
Rice
Pancake & bread mixes
Canned chili
Canned stew
Canned fish
Canned meat
Condensed or chunky so
Canned vegetables
Canned fruits
Canned juices
Instant potatoes
Again, this is NOT a requirement to participate in the walk, but it is very helpful to those in need, so I urge you to donate something. I am going to personally deliver the items to the bank early next week.
