Columbus Ohio is plum full of zombies. I've seen them. I want to see them again. Walking the streets in broad daylight, unashamed of their rotten remains. I want to see them all in one place, sharing zombie secrets and trading zombie lines. I want to see them moving, out of their graves, going the zombie distance, taking their zombie time.
This is it, Columbus. One zombie is just not enough.
Will you join me?
Make-up artists, costumers, daywalkers, nightstalkers, whatever! Anyone who wants to be a part of the migration, drop a line! I'll be waiting.

Sweetness! Glad to have you aboard. I've wanted a hurse for a long time. It's a great promotional vehicle for haunted attractions. Do you let your patrons ride in it, or is it just for looks?
BTW, How are things down in Pleasantville?? I have always wanted to come down and check out your show. I am always working (The House of Nightmares) when you're open and I always miss it. I have heard good things!
You all are more than welcome to hand out flyers during the walk. I'm sure that we'll be doing something to promote the ol' haunt.

Excellent!!! A touch of fez will definitely add some character to the walk. I'm all for it! I hopped on and read the post. You might explain that May 25th is World Zombie Walk Day and that it's PERFECT because MarCon (Multiple Alternate Realities Convention) is in town that weekend at the Hyatt.
Thanks for the repost! I'd love to have the FOM along!

i was talking about a zombiewalk about a month ago. ideally i was wanting to have it on easter :) BUT i play roller derby and our first bout is the day before (april 7) and i knew there was no way i was going to be getting up and walking around the next day!
i asked the derby people about what kind of intrest they would have with a zombie walk & i got a great response! you can count on a good turn out from the ohio roller girls!!! i'll make sure they all know about this!
also, we (the ohio roller girls) will be hosting a half way to halloween zombie prom in late april! i'll have more details as they become available.
OHRG is also having a bout on 12 may. you might see about contacting someone in our league about handing out flyers for the zombie walk. if you want, i can find out the right person to talk to. :)
braaains & derby,

SWEETNESS!!!
I love the OHRG! Will you be "dead at the derby" style characters to promote the league?? That would be cool. Either way, get me a name and I'll get you gals some flyers!
Give me the details on the 1/2 way party too!

i might wear an OHRG shirt. i thought about wearing my skates too, but honestly skating on the sidewalk kinda sucks. especially in the short north area where the sidewalks aren't that even. if we where actually IN the street it wouldn't be so bad.

Aw...... Yes the Gravedigger and I are good friends..... I just visited the warehouse with him last week. We are talking about doing something together promotional wise. Oh, you can ride in the hearse if you would like. We will be open this year until the first weekend in November. The farm would love to have you, even bring Dave along.

Hey I just moved here from NY and I LOVE doing Zombie Make-Up. I've been my friend's go-to girl for any crazy make-up for years. I'm so excited! I'll be at the zombie walk with bells on! Possibly maggots. Maybe some dirt...

A few of the "undead" GCRG (gem city roller girl) will be down for the Walk on the 26th. Dont know about the skates though...we may just stick to tee shirts, pavement is a bitch :P
The BumsCorner.com crew will be there as well! A couple of us participating, and the rest of the Bums working on a little project on the side.
Looking forward to it!

I think MARCON is the same weekend. that would certainly swell the hoard.

Yeah! MarCon is that same weekend. In fact, they have contacted me and asked that we walk through the show. Should be worth a pit-stop at the Hyatt, don't you think?
