Waterloo Zombie Walk!!

Needs recruits! The date is October 28th (Saturday) at 9pm. We're meeting at the Waterloo Park picnic shelter and from there, lurching to the William's Coffee Pub in the University Plaza, where we'll messily eat, drink and thoroughly confuse other patrons. Thereafter we'll shuffle back to the park and then are free to return to our respective homes (graves). Any K-W residents here that want to join?

Here's the latest info!

The plan is to meet on October 28th at 9pm, at the picnic shelter in Waterloo Park. From there we'll come out from the Westmount Road entrance and turn right onto University, where we'll keep going straight until we hit the Williams' Coffee Pub just past U of W. It's about a 20 minute walk (lurch?), so dress warm or layer your tattered, bloody rags if they're calling for a chilly night. Yeah, we're the walking dead and all, but we can't risk our limbs freezing up on the hunt for brains! And oh yeah...if you have a camera, BRING IT! I'll be posting pics of our outing online afterwards.

Once at Williams, since it seems to be illegal to chow down on patrons, we can fill our tummies with the food of the living while socializing zombie-style. When we're done we'll lurch back to the park and then be on our merry (or scary) ways back to our respective homes.

The entrance to the park is off of Westmount Road, and there's parking at the top of the hill for those coming in cars.

There's about 20 recruits so far, but the bigger, the better! So even for those who can't come, forward this onto those who you think might be able to. As far as I know this is the first organized big zombie walk in Waterloo so let's make it awesome.

UPDATE as of Oct 24th!!!

Greetings, fellow undead! Don’t forget, this Saturday the 28th we unleash our horror upon the city! FYI, the weather forecast for Saturday is rain or snow, high of 5 degrees, low of 0. so remember to dress warm – that’s the great thing about being a zombie, you can wear anything! And, since it’ll be chilly it’ll feel even better when we get to Williams and fill our rotting bodies with warm hot chocolate and other goodies. It may be wise to bring an umbrella in case it’s warmer and rainy. Either way, the walk is still on – rain or snow! :twisted:

Hello fellow undead!

Tomorrow night we rise and walk the Earth! Muahahahaha!

I will be wearing a name tag with my aliases (ZombieGirl, Necronomicat) so those who don't know me will know which zombie I am.

**TIPS FOR BEING A GOOD ZOMBIE**

-Blank expression
-Shuffling/stiff walking
-Slow movements
-Moans and groans
-Random utterances of "Brains"

We can of course talk, providing it's slow and zombie-like for the best effect. ;)

Get creative with your makeup! We want to look truly creepy!

The weather was brutal, and the turnout smaller than expected because of that, but the enthusiasm of all involved made it a fun night! Thanks a ton all! Hopefully I will be able to post some photos of the event soon!
