Currently in the planning stages of a zombie walk in Iowa City. Should be a good turn out as I have friends who are hooked into the SF/Gaming community and have actually planned conventions before.

Right now....July is the target month. More info will be posted as the details are hammered out.

It's a go!!
Here's all the info:

The First Annual (!?!) Iowa City Zombie March

Walk with your un-dead brethren through the streets of Iowa City in the light of day. With all your gore and glory, let’s mob the city! Be one of us because you are a Horror movie fan, because you love costume or to make a statement. How often do you get to participate in something this weird and free?



All that is required is that you show up in costume, respect traffic laws and practice common sense.

Bring your friends; nothing says you love someone quite like caking yourself in make-up, limping down the street together and eating the occasional bystander! Besides, nothing is more impressive that a mob of zombies and the sense of belonging you get from being part of that mob.


When: July 22, 2006– Iowa City

Where: Meet at Happy Hollow Park at 4:30. We will start walking at 5:00.

What: Walk from the park to down town Iowa City…ending up at the Deadwood.

Make-up Help: Those who need make up help can bring their make-up and get help with that starting at 3:30

After Reaching Our Destination we will have a drawing for some free t-shirts and other goodies. Then you’re free to shuffle off in search of brains and drink.
