Heya Zeds!
This is Darren, the Development Director for Zombie Walk Houston, and I'm proud to say that our website upgrade is complete!www.zombiewalkhouston.com
There are a lot of great changes coming to the Houston Zombie Walk this year, and we are kicking things off with a short story writing contest!
We are challenging you, our undead horde to come up with short stories. There are only 2 rules for this.
First obviously, it has to be a short story given the title.
Second, the setting has to be right here in Houston! We are encouraging you to write yourself, the places you know, the friends you have into the detail. It can be about anything in the undead world, just make it grass-roots.
The 3 best stories will receive special prizes to be announced at a later date.
Our plan is to collect as many of these as we can, and get them published into an anthology book about the undead phenomena here in Houston. We are in the process of pitching the idea to a few publishers, and everyone we’ve spoken to love the idea.
So, get creative, get scary, and most of all, get into the undead groove!
Submissions MUST be in no later than September 10, 2010.
