DOWNTOWN PHOENIX ZOMBIE WALK

It was once written that when there was no more room in hell, the dead would walk the Earth. We don't know if that's the case or if maybe its just some medical experiment gone awry, but come Friday, October 30th, 2009, the dead will take to the streets of Downtown Phoenix and you're invited to join the horde!

First, lets get the specifics out of the way,

DATE: 10/30/2009
TIME: 5:30pm, walk starts at 6:00pm
LOCATION: Downtown Phoenix, meet in Heritage Square in front of the Arizona Science Center.
ROUTE: To be determined (We're still tweaking it. We do know this much, we'll be ending at Friday's Front Row at Chase Field with GREAT drink prices and 15% off all food bills!!!, more details on this will be coming up.)

Now, some of you may be asking "What the hell is a Zombie Walk?" And to you I say, good question. Let me try to explain:

You become a zombie, and you walk. Got it? Want more details? Wikipedia is your friend: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zombie_walk

Long story short, a while back some people thought it would be fun if a group of them got together, dressed up as zombies, and shambled around town. Lo and behold, it kind of became a nation-wide phenomenon. And now you are invited to participate in the Downtown Phoenix chapter.

Why Downtown Phoenix? Well, for starters you have the new ASU Downtown campus, a breeding ground of potential undead legions. Also, the night of October 30th plays host to a few events. Plays at the Herberger Theater, a performance at the Phoenix Symphony, and this little thing called the Phoenix Suns home opener. All of which giving us great visibility and potential interaction with the public. What more could a shambling horde of undead ask for?

We'll continue providing information, tips, and rules as the date approaches (some of it is already up at our myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/phoenixzombiewalk09 ). Until then, spread the infection. Invite your friends, your family...hell, invite your enemies. Zombies don't discriminate, neither should you.

See you there!
