Any zombies out there?
***- Don't say that!
What?
***- That!
What?
***- The zed-word. Don't say it!
Why not?
***- Because it's ridiculous!

Lurching and dragging your barely hinged limbs down the street with a horde of like minded undead.

Here in Houston, we shamble down Westheimer Road raising food and supplies for local charities.

Houston's 2008 Zombie Walk occurred on October 25th. With 100 zombie participants, we raised 237 meals for the Houston Food Bank.
This year our Charity is Tillman Troops!

Zombie Walk Houston was manifested sometime in early 2008 for the sole purpose of supporting local charities and having a blast while doing it. The first Houston Zombie walk, on October 25th, 2008, in Midtown was a huge undead success, with 100 zombies gathering 237 meals for the Houston Food Bank. The 2009 Second Annual Houston Zombie Walk also takes place the Saturday before Halloween. This year, hundreds will gather behind Petsmart at the corner of West Alabama and Shepherd Drive to help raise items for our troops, via our 2009 Charity: Tillmantroops.org. The undead will walk the streets of midtown beginning at 5:30pm on Saturday, October 24th, 2009. Each zombie participant is required to bring two (2) items from the Tillman Troops Care Package allowed list or a monetary donation of five (5) dollars to help cover package mailing expenses. Zombies of all ages and backgrounds, are encouraged to join us as we shamble down Westheimer Road and have a fun time while supporting such a great cause!

Last year was uber fun & the hostess of this event, Amy is awesome. I'm still deciding on a theme (last year I was in scrubs) and I'm trying to infect as many friends as possible to bring along.

What are your zombie ideas, themes you're going for or party plans for after?
