BUFFALO, NY Zombie Walk

Buffalo had a zombie walk two years ago I believe. I don't recall hearing anything about it last year. I want to see if there is enough interest to get one going this year. I am also trying to arrange a zombie flash mob, possibly for the opening of Zombieland (10/2/09).

The theatre company I am with does Night of the Living Dead each year, the weekend before Halloween. So I have some zombies ready and willing. But the more zombies we have, the bigger the impact!

Anyone interested in either/or, let's hear it!

There is already a zombie walk planned for Halloween (Saturday, Oct. 31) @ 1pm down Elmwood Avenue, and yes, there was one last year.

- Some businesses enjoy the Zombie Walk, but some will get pissed off if you go smearing your bloody face on their window.
- Pretty much just don't be a dbag.
- In response to last year's unusable fake blood debacle: if you have a tried-and-true recipe for fake blood, please send it over. For now, it's best to get gussied up before you get to the meeting spot.

Definately into being a zombie as often as possible! I'll go to any function you guys got. So is this NYC walk going on or no? I'll def. be at Asbury Park on the 3rd, but would love to see the NYC one too...

In addition to the Oct 31 Zombie Walk starting at Bidwell, there is a Sat Oct 10 Zombie Pub Crawl starting at the Buffalo Central Terminal, stopping at a couple of bars, and ending at a small theater for a zombie party (meetup 5:00PM, walk starts 6:30PM).

There was a bit on the Walk on last night's news (WKBW) and I'd LOVE a copy of it. I can't find one on line, but a link would be great, or if someone has a copy I can pick up/ have mailed to me, I'd adore it.
