On pants... Can anyone help with a tip on making a dirt effect on the legs of the pants. Umm... like if you wallked in a muddy puddle and it dried.

The easiest way to achieve the unearthed look is to actually bury your costume in the yard for a week. It will be pretty gross, but very realistic looking, feeling and smelling.
