World Zombie Day will be a day when fans of zombie culture can join together. It will be the first ever international charity event done throughout 50 cities involved to help alleviate world hunger.
This event is FREE! The participating living dead are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to the walk starting point.
Please sign in so we can be counted towards the world record! Registration begins 2pm at London Bridge 100 E. Adams St. Downtown Jacksonville. The walk will begin approximately 3pm and last about an hour. Please do not wait until 3pm to arrive, everyone must be signed in and organized before we begin.
The dress code is zombie. The Greater Jacksonville Roller Derby girls will be distributing blood to those in need!
AFTERPARTY
There will be an after party immediately following at 9th & Main in Historic Springfield with bands Lazarus (Cocoa Beach), Deado (Gainesville), Angel Spawn (Jax) and DJ SuZi-Rok. There will be drink specials, zombie karaoke, contests and givaways! 18 and up. $5 for the undead. If you don't make it to the walk and would like to donate you may drop off non-perishable food here as well.
