We're holding the first ever Queen City Zombie Walk on October 24, 2008.

Here's the details:
What? A Zombie Walk is a gathering of people dressed and behaving like zombies. We will be shuffling from the Legislative Building to Victoria Park. At Victoria Park there will be a chance for photos and prizes.
When? Gather October 24th, 4:00PM on the steps of the Leg. We shuffle at 4:30PM down Albert St. to Victoria Ave. ending at Victoria Park.
Why? In support of the Regina & District Food Bank (and because it's fun). Zombies are asked to bring a donation of a non-perishable food item or $ for the Regina & District Food Bank. Each zombie who donates will be eligible to win prizes.
Who? You!
Event Update: Due to permit restrictions, zombies must shuffle on the SIDEWALKS and OBEY TRAFFIC LAWS. We will most likely need to make use of sidewalks on both sides of the street-so feel free to do so!

Have the final touches done on your Zombie Walk costume by local make-up artist Lesley Rosiak. Contact her through Facebook for details!
Guinness World Record attempt for most Zombies dancing to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" as a part of Thrill the World! There will be a practice at Victoria Park for this event which is on October 25 following the walk!
