Special guest Count Smokula, The premiere of American Zombie, The Living Dead Fest........could you ask for much more?

This is the walk we've been talking about doing for a long time now. This walk will be ending at the second annual "Living Dead Fest".

You may be wondering what the Living Dead Fest is, and that's ok because I'm about to tell you. The Living Dead Fest is a show. It's a dedication to the living dead through alternative music. If you are into Horror punk, Psychobilly, rock & roll, or gothic horror than this party is for you. You don't have to just come for the bands. We will have a V.I.P. area with plenty of alcohol and lots of vendors pedaling all kinds of spooky goods!

Part of the fun will be the entrance to the after party. This is because all of the living are not allowed inside the venue until the dead arrive. So there should be at least a hundred mortals waiting out in front for us to devour on the way in.

There will also be a film crew there filming and conducting interviews for a documentary about zombie culture here in America. Also, the makers of "American Zombie" will be on hand with door prizes and much more. American Zombie Premiers on the 28th of March, so the timing couldn't be better!

It doesn't stop there! Nope, we have yet something else planned. Ladies, listen up! We will also be crowning LA's first Zombie Queen on stage midway through the performances. So make sure you dress to die for if you want to enter.

With all that said, I think we have a spooktacular night set out for all you brain and flesh eating corpses. I don't think anyone has done anything quite like this. And oh yeah.... I forgot, we're making this annual. Next year, we will crown a new queen.

We hope to see you all there!
All Zombie Walk groups are invited to join us!

=============Living Dead Fest===================

The second annual "Living Dead Fest" will be the one and only event of it’s kind in the U.S.- a morbidly fun evening of music, featuring an international line-up of bands, vendors, and enthusiastic fans. Though only a second time event, the success of Fiendforce record’s 2005 and 2006 Fiend Fests in Germany and 2006 in L.A. and last years Living Dead Fest indicates that this too will be well attended. The Fiend Fest name has been laid to rest, but involved parties are morphing it into this bigger event, more representative of the scene and the lifestyle associated with it. _Confirmed bands are Rezurex, a horror-billy act from L.A. who seem poised to be the next Stray Cats; The White Coffin Terror, a deep melodic horror punk band from right here in LA With melodies that will take you to the grave and beyond; and The Triggers, with their true to the roots sound and theatrical stage presence, they are quickly becoming a hugely favored band out of LA.; ***** of the Fly from San Bernadino, CA. with it’s unique vocals and hard horror influences; More than Never with it’s almost savory bloody sounds that make your ears bleed and your flesh fall off; and The Astro Zombies with the pyschobilly/Rockabilly sounds all the way from Spain! You won’t want to miss these guys.......

===============American Zombie=====================

I am now offering that if you go see this movie on the 28th (opening day) and keep the ticket stub, it will get you a $5.00 off the door at Living Dead Fest 2.

You must present your ticket stub from American Zombie at the Key Club to get the ******** (this offer does not apply to online ticket sales).
So check it out!

Filmmakers Grace Lee ("The Grace Lee Project") and John Solomon ("Nonsense Man") team up to shoot a documentary about high-functioning zombies living in Los Angeles and their struggles to gain acceptance in human society.

Despite their wildly different working styles, Grace and John manage to chronicle the hopes and dreams of four fascinating subjects: IVAN, a convenience-store clerk who longs for a career in publishing; LISA, a florist trying to recover her lost memories; JUDY, a hopeless romantic who learns to accept her true nature; and JOEL (pronounced "Yo-El"), a committed political activist striving for zombie rights. As Grace strives to get to know the zombies "on their own terms," John is eager to uncover their darker side and rallies to get the crew permission to shoot at a three-day, zombies-only retreat called Live Dead where the documentary takes an unexpected – and dangerous – turn. What transpires there is beyond anything the filmmakers could imagine, as they are forced to re-evaluate their ideas about tolerance, identity politics and the future of the human race.

Here is a coupon for you to go see this movie!
Also, if you make it to the walk, we will have a fully autographed movie poster being given away to some lucky dead person as one of our many prizes and give aways! Not to mention 10 free passes to see this film! So be sure to go to the show after the walk!

So make sure you join the dead on this night of flesh devouring.
