some other tips i came up with on my own
blue lipstick
if you want blueish lips but makeup just wont stay all day
baby powder
its your friend
use it alot
on your hair your clothes your face to take the shine out of your makeup
fake blood is good
blood capsules can work but they taste like hell
you can buy it or make your own with some karo syrup an red food coloring
(maybe a drop or 2 of blue to make it darker)
if you want your clothes to look muddy/dirty
you can bury em for a few days
or you can use brown paint
take a big brush get some paint on it then get most of the paint off by brusing it on some newpaper or whatever then when the brush is almost all dry of paint
paint your clothes with it
you will get a real light layer of paint because most of the paint is on the newspaper not on the brush
repeat everytime you put more paint on the brush
you can put some green in for grass stains
red for blood whatever get crazy
if you want torn clothes try to actually tear it rather than cut
because cuts look like they were made that way
for splattered blood you can use some red paint mixed with some water
in a spray bottle
darker red for older blood
really red for fresh blood
a light mist with a spary paint can works well too when mixed with the spray bottle effect
if i think of anything else ill be sure to share...

Hah. The only good alternative I know is Water + Careeganen (aka, what GWAR uses), but that stuff is mad expensive.
