Old School Sinema, together with Cleveland Food Not Bombs, is working on scheduling a charity Zombie Walk in Mentor Ohio, with a date to be announced soon.
We are planning this event to take place on a Saturday, and will consist of the walk itself, followed by a carnival of sorts at the end of the route. This is a charity event, and zombies will be required to register and bring 2 cans of food as a donation / admission charge for participation.
The walk will take about one hour, and will be followed with a carnival-type gathering at the end of the route, made up of booths for games and raffles and run by Old School Sinema, Clevelan Food Not Bombs, and local computer repair shop PC-Netfix. We are also going to try to get a Red Cross blood****** or two to arrive and collect donations of badly-needed blood. Any card-carrying donor will only have to bring 1 can of food to walk, provided they show their donor card and agree to donate blood.
This event is still in the planning stage and is subject to change, but if any are ready and willing to donate and participate, start spreading the word now, as we are hoping for an attendance of 200-500.
